The Great Adventure

Mom and Dad are on a great adventure. They are driving west to San Fransisco and then up the coast and then all the way across Canada and back home. They love to drive. And for this adventure, they skipped on the RV and just threw an air mattress in the back of the van. They are true campers. They brought along some companions. I would bet they are not as good of travelers as their own children. Here is one of the 20 pictures they have taken along the way of Bubba the dog, Johnny Tractor, Rapunzel Barbie, and the Sheepdog. The sheepdog is one of Emory's favorite toys, Elijah loves his Johnny Tractor, and it is Lauren's Barbie. BJ fely left out along the way, so they bought Bubba for her. They write what the 4 have seen for the day, and yesterday they got their first In-and-Out Burger. I am guessing it was their "1" meal for the day. If you have ever been on a Smith vacation, you know you get one meal a day, and then all the Boston Baked Beans you can stand. Maybe that explains the lovely aroma that always followed us on our vacations.
