Clif's Baptism

God has been at work in Clif's life. We have been blessed to have great friends in Christ at our church and we have been very active in our worship team for a couple of years. Kirt Mosier has been a powerful force in introducing Clif to a deeper relationship with Christ. They are like brothers. Clif has a deep respect for Kirt, and that is why he asked him to baptize him today. Clif was baptized as an infant, but he wanted to be submerged in water in front of friends and family to signify his renewed commitment to live for Christ. It was a short but perfect service complete with words by Kirt Mosier and Tim Ek, our interim pastor. Clif really wanted to be baptized when his mom and John were in town, and unfortunately Ernie is currently overseas. He invited my whole family, so Mom, Dad, Grandma Sue, BJ, Mikki and the boys, and Casey were there. Most of the Mosiers were there, and a good friend of Clif's from school came and brought her boys. As you can tell by the pictures, Emory was especially intrigued by the big "bath tub". After the baptism, she asked Clif to take her to see the water "to see if there were any toys in there". Clif arranged the whole thing, and found a church that would let him use their baptismal. I have been singing "Lord Have Mercy" by Michael W. Smith because the Mosiers played the song. I can't begin to express how proud I am of Clif. I am inspired by watching him walk closer wth God. Clif just always finds these little ways to make me love him more and more.

Clif inspires us all to be more Christ-like in our daily walks. Kirt may have delivered the knock-out blow to Clif, but Angie, you contributed a great deal by your faith and habits. You both make us proud.

Were there any toys in the tub?
