My favotrite sounds

A child singing
Miles saying, "You're the best and I love you!"
The sound of snowflakes hitting your ski jacket
Emory's sweet voice reading to me.
A pipe organ's bass pedals
The sound my Mac makes when you turn it on
A baby "cooing"
The silence of a blanket of snow
Simon and Garfunkel
The English Horn
A Brass Choir
Naptime
The dentist saying, "No cavities this time!"
The sound and feel of the shutter on my Nikon
Quinn's voice around a "g" or an "a"
My kids at school singing, "Good Afternoon, Mrs. Thurmond"
The ice cream truck
A train in the distance
My tuba played above the staff
The waves crashing in the ocean
Emory reading to Miles in the morning before I get up
LAUGHTER
A Harp
The theme song to "The Office"
Miles' whisper
Bailey's moan in her sleep
Emory and Miles and Riley singing their prayer, "Thank you, Jesus..."

Nice sounds, all. What about the sound of big rain drops on the roof, or a gentle breeze rustling the leaves, or the distant sound of a train going away, or waves crashing ashore, or Piano Sonata Number 8 in C Minor? Of those on your list, I like laugher a lot, though no better than the others.
